• Why Eiger Matte Box? Eiger Matte Box system resolves the frustration of using filters without a matte box. It incorporates optional filters (VND, Gradient, Mist, Steak, Straight ND) in one system. The adjustable carbon fiber top flag minimizes glare or flare for superior image quality.
• Why VND? VND filters offer convenience and versatility in situations where the lighting conditions are changing rapidly. With a VND filter, you can achieve the desired exposure quickly without changing filters constantly. This can be particularly beneficial in dynamic shooting scenarios, such as outdoor photography or videography, where lighting conditions can vary rapidly.
• Why Blue Streak? Blue Streak Filter is designed to produce a unique special effect where a single light ray originating from a point source is transformed into elongated blue streaks extending horizontally from the light source.
• Why Soft Edge Gradient? Capture stunning landscape shots with our Soft Edge Gradient GND0.9 Filters. These high-quality filters are designed to help you balance the exposure of bright skies and darker foregrounds, resulting in stunning, well-balanced photos every time.
• Why Hard Edge Gradient? It features a hard-edge transition that lets you balance the exposure between the sky and the ground without creating a visible line in your images.
• Why Reverse Edge Gradient? The Reverse Edge Gradient is designed to capture images during sunrise or sunset when the sun is just above the horizon. The filter reduces the light in the brightest part of the scene, typically the sky, and balances it with the darker areas of the image, such as the land or sea. A gradient GND0.9 filter is essential for landscape photographers to balance the exposure. It has a 3-stop light reduction capacity that helps you capture stunning, vibrant images with precise details. The filter is ideal for scenarios with a bright sky and darker foreground, such as seascapes, mountains, and cityscapes.
• Why Snow Mist? Snow Mist filters produce a white-colored mist effect, which is more pronounced and can create a more dreamy or romantic look. The white mist effect is evenly distributed throughout the image and can give a soft, ethereal glow to the highlights, mid-tones, and shadows.
• Why UV? The sun’s emission of UV rays is significantly bad for your camera lens. Freewell UV filter is designed to absorb almost all ranges of UV rays to give more precise and sharper pictures with less haze. It also functions as a protective layer that shields the lens from dirt, dust, and scratches.
• IRND1000 filter cuts light by ten f-stops, enabling captivating long-exposure shots with a mesmerizing milky effect.
• Future-proof：With Eiger Matte Box, you no longer need to worry about choosing the correct filter thread size. This versatile system is designed to be compatible with the lens up to 95mm with included adaptors from 67mm to 82mm, with an option to purchase an adaptor for 52mm, 55mm, 58mm, 62mmand 95mm separately.
